Meet the family behind Edwards Cake & Candy Supplies, LLC
In 1977, Nina Edwards and her husband, Gil, had the vision to supply the Modesto area with baking and decorating needs. Nina was an avid baker and won many awards for her exceptional talent. When she struggled to find specialty supplies nearby, she decided to open the shop on Oakdale Road. Nina retired and handed the shop over to her daughter, Carol. After Nina's passing, Carol and her husband, Lindsay, became the owners. Soon after, they moved the shop to its current location on Bangs Avenue to expand the inventory. In 2022, both of Carol's daughters were added to the ownership, carrying on the tradition of family ownership. Emily and April have begun running the day-to-day business with their wonderful group of employees, many of whom have been around the store or part of the family for many years. The family has felt blessed to be supported by the community and hopes to continue serving the central valley of California for generations to come!
